About us

At Kidderminster and District RSPCA we rehome and rescue across Kidderminster and surrounding areas.

Like every other branch of the RSPCA in England and Wales, Kidderminster and District is a separately registered charity. We’re therefore totally self-funded and responsible for raising our own, vital funds locally.

Our branch is run by a committee of volunteer trustees. They oversea all activities and are the backbone of our branch. There’s no paid members of staff; we totally rely on volunteers giving us their valuable free time. Without them, we simply could not operate.

As we don’t have an animal rescue centre Worcester Branch help when space is available for which we are very grateful. Some of the cats in our care are with our volunteer fosterers. We’re fully reliant on them to look after our animals until they find a new home.

All our fundraising work is also done by our volunteers in their spare time.

As part of the wider RSPCA it’s our vision to live in a world where all animals are respected and treated with compassion. Our mission is to, by all lawful means, prevent cruelty, promote kindness to and alleviate suffering of all animals.

We cover postcodes areas DY10, DY11 and DY12.
